Abortion and the Culture of Death

Pro-Life advocates are tentatively pleased after Donald Trump’s recent announcement that he intends to organize a plan to remove funding to planned parenthood on a federal level. Trump has stated that he will work with lawmakers to amend the Title X legislation that allows for government funding to be sent to organizations like Planned Parenthood.

While Title X funding cannot be used by these organizations for actual abortions, it does go to things like plan B pills and other birth control methods.  This does allow for Planned Parenthood to perform more abortions by lowering their overall costs as many of their clients are those under the poverty line, and Planned Parenthood receives between 50 to 60 million dollars in Title X funding annually.

According to a recent Marist poll, up to 60% of Americans oppose the use of Government funding for abortion and contraceptive related programs, with 56% of both parties polled finding abortion to be morally wrong. This isn’t a hard sell because as of 2018 Planned Parenthood has been involved in roughly three hundred thousand plus abortions per year, with abortion being the leading cause of american deaths every year and 7.6 MILLION children aborted since the passing of Roe V. Wade in 1973.

Proponents of planned parenthood claim that the reproductive freedom of women is being threatened by this proposed cut of taxpayer money all the while ignoring the fact that their reproductive freedom is not the fiscal responsibility of the taxpayer. But what freedom is being lost? The freedom for Planned Parenthood to continue to push their founder Margaret Sanger’s Eugenicist agenda? The fact is that the Black and Hispanic population are adversely affected by abortion, with the majority of cases being from their communities and whites only accounting for 12% and Hispanics accounting for the majority.

The question I have for anyone who considered themselves to be pro choice, doesn’t it seem strange to you that the founder of the organisation you support started off by claiming whites are the superior race, actively championed for people of color to breed less, and helped to establish a government supported industry that murders more people of color than police, war, disease, and violence combined? Does it not worry you that a group of the upper class determines how much an organization, that kills more people POC and whites yearly than any other cause, gets paid to do it? These people are being disproportionately assaulted. It’s time we do something about it.

Don’t take my word for it.
